December workday at the preserve was a huge success!

There were a whole lot of heave hos at the Preserve Saturday. A mighty crew cleared most of the trees and brush felled at the last work day. Deb and Mark Toycen, Leo Schindler, Bob Lefevre, Mark Mosey, Keith Gilland and several UW Stout students hauled, stacked and burned a huge amount of material. Their efforts make possible expanding the start of native grass land east of the pond. Many thanks to the UW Stout students, their professor Keith Gilland and community members who spent their Saturday working at the Preserve!
