CVTC Electrical Distribution Students install new Osprey Platform at the Preserve!

A huge THANK YOU to the students and instructor of the Electrical Distribution Program at CVTC for installing our new Osprey Nesting Platform and new pole on the eastern end of the preserve today! The pole was donated by CVTC. The platform was built by Lee Boland, Mark Mosey and Keith Gilland.

The nesting platform is east of the Ferry Pond in the prairie restoration area. Osprey do use the Ferry Pond and are seen frequently during the summer. Let’s hope a nesting pair use it next year!
