A big thank you to the Colfax Cub Scouts for their energetic seed collecting at the Preserve! They collected three kinds of native grass seeds (little blue stem, side oats grama, and Canada wild rye), stiff goldenrod and hyssop–all of which we can broadcast later this year to expand the native vegetation at the Preserve. Thank you, Colfax Cub Scouts and thanks to your parents and scout leaders for your support! Also a big thank you to Mark Mosey and Kathy Stahl for overseeing the event.
